Hi, I’m Megan Corwin and I love all things internet — website and graphic design, social media, marketing — you name it!
As for formal education, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Ohio State University. My first job was creating a marketing database for a software company. While there, I realized I wanted to learn more about technology – so I took a program from Chubb Services in Client/Server Programming languages.
By day, I worked corporate jobs expanding my analytical and technical skills. In the evenings, I spent the majority of my time taking various arts and crafts classes, such as knitting, drawing, and printing.
When Etsy came on the scene, I opened a shop selling block and screen printed shirts.
While researching how to promote my online store, I became fascinated with social media and internet marketing. I knew my calling was to combine my love of technology, arts and marketing into learning how to create a compelling internet presence.
I left my corporate job years ago to work with entrepreneurs and never looked back.
Since then, I have worked with entrepreneurs and small businesses by creating and executing social media marketing plans. My contributions have ranged from competitor analysis to creating Pinterest and Facebook graphics to writing blog content.
About five years ago I was researching Instagram for a client and instantly became obsessed with mobile photography. Since then, I have had iPhone images showcased at the Columbus Museum of Art, in multiple local publications, and been included in gallery shows.
Combining technology, art and marketing into websites and designs to promote entrepreneurs is fun for me.
